Apu Biswas entered the film industry during a transitional phase for Bangladeshi cinema. Making her debut with a brief role in Amjad Hossain’s Kal Sakale (2005), she quickly transitioned to leading roles, most notably in Firomoni’s Koti Takar Kabin (2006). This film paired her with superstar Shakib Khan, initiating one of the most commercially successful on-screen partnerships in the history of Dhallywood.
