A telesync (TS) is a bootleg recording of a film, typically taken from a theatrical release. Unlike a "cam," which is recorded directly by a handheld camera in a movie theater, a telesync is recorded using an external camera (often on a tripod) and, crucially, [1.2.1-1.2.5].
