Balašević aimed to capture the specific "Panonnia" atmosphere of Vojvodina, using the film to expand on the emotional world of his music. The entire Balašević family participated in the production: his wife Olivera served as producer, and his children Jovana, Jelena, and Aleksa all had roles in front of or behind the camera.
