: The heart of the show. Despite the character's lack of emotional range, Brissette's performance was so convincing that she became an icon. Interestingly, before Brissette was cast, several other young actresses were considered for the role of Vicki, including Candace Cameron (later of Full House fame) and Heather O'Rourke (famous for Poltergeist).
