Padosan tells the story of Bhola (Sunil Dutt), a simple and naive man who falls in love with his beautiful new neighbor, Bindu (Saira Banu). To win her heart, Bhola must compete with her South Indian music teacher, Master Pillai (Mehmood). Since Bhola cannot sing, he enlists his friend Vidyapati (Kishore Kumar) and his theater troupe to "ghost-sing" for him, leading to some of the most hilarious sequences in Bollywood history.
You cannot talk about Padosan without talking about its music. R.D. Burman’s genius paired with Rajendra Krishan’s lyrics created an album that is still played at weddings and parties today. padosan 1968 filmyzilla
