The story follows Miguel Palacios (Juan Minujín), a disgraced ex-cop serving time in a remote prison. He is offered a lifeline by a powerful judge: go undercover in the notorious San Ofofre prison under the alias "Pastor Peña." His mission is to infiltrate a powerful inmate gang that has kidnapped Luna Lunati (Maite Lanata), the judge's teenage daughter.

The series is set in a shantytown, or villa miseria , on the outskirts of Buenos Aires.
