Maruthu is a simple, hardworking laborer in the Rajapalayam vegetable market who lives a happy life with his grandmother, Appathaa. His life takes a turn when he learns that his girlfriend Bhagyam’s mother, a brave woman who stood up to a corrupt local chairman named Rolex Pandiyan, was brutally murdered by him. The narrative follows Maruthu as he marries Bhagyam and vows to avenge her mother's death, leading to a direct confrontation with the powerful and ruthless Pandiyan.
